Sound familiar?

You’re not doing it wrong. You just didn’t have anything better on hand.

Most parents struggle to get their kids off screens, and it’s not because kids are hooked. It’s because they have nothing more exciting to do. Here’s what usually happens:

01Another afternoon glued to the phoneThey say “we’re bored,” and you have no idea what to offer instead of the phone. You end up giving in and feeling guilty.100 ready-to-go projects: pick one in 60 seconds
02You search for activities and end up with 40 open tabsYou find scattered ideas on Pinterest, none with a full materials list or clear instructions. An hour goes by and nothing gets started.Everything in one place, organized by category and difficulty
03Pricey kits get used onceYou bought a robotics kit for the price of dinner for four. They built it in one afternoon, the pieces got lost, and it never came out again. One payment, 100 projects, years of use
04They start something and quit at step 3The instructions skip steps, the pieces don’t fit, they get frustrated and give up. You end up finishing it yourself, or it’s left half-done.35 full-size templates, one drawing per step, and pieces that fit the first time

Your kids aren’t the problem. You just didn’t have the right system. Here’s how we fix that.

What changes at home

The same afternoons, with a new star of the show

Your kids don’t change. What changes is what they have on hand when they say “I’m bored.”

Before
Before
  • Afternoons revolve around the tablet
  • “Here, I’ll do it,” because they get frustrated and give up
  • Science is just another school subject
  • Every time the screen has to go off, there’s an argument
After
After
  • Afternoons revolve around whatever they’re building
  • They finish it themselves and proudly show it to you
  • They explain to you why the thing they built moves
  • They’re the ones asking, “Can we make another one?”

“I bought it on a Tuesday night, and by Saturday my son had already built 4 projects. He didn’t ask for my phone all morning. The proud look on his face when he showed me the walking robot was priceless.”

Is this right for you?

Let’s make sure it’s a good fit

This isn’t for everyone, and that’s how it should be. Read both columns before you decide.

This is for you if…

  • You have kids between 5 and 12 who spend a lot of time in front of screens
  • You want to give them something to build with their hands, not just something to watch
  • You’d rather have 100 projects ready to go than hunt for ideas every time
  • You love the idea of starting today with what you already have at home
  • You like that they can do it with little help, or that you can do it together without needing to be an engineer

This isn’t for you if…

  • You want something your kids can do completely on their own, with no adult nearby (kids under 8 need someone with them)
  • You want a physical product with all the pieces precut and ready (this is a printable PDF)
  • You don’t have a printer and can’t print the templates at a print shop or trace them from a tablet

Do three or more points on the green list sound like you? This was made for you.

Who created it

Engineer and mom of two

I’ve spent 10 years teaching robotics to kids in workshops and schools. I created this bundle because I was tired of seeing parents spend a fortune on kits their kids used once, and kids getting frustrated because the instructions weren’t clear. This is what I use with my own children and what has worked in my workshops since 2019.

FAQ

Your questions, answered

Everything other parents ask us before buying, with clear, straightforward answers.

What ages is this for? Most asked

The projects are designed for kids ages 5 to 12. Each one lists its recommended age range: easy projects for ages 5–7, intermediate for 8–10 and advanced for 11–12. Younger kids (5–7) will need an adult nearby to help with cutting or reading, but they can follow the pictures. Older kids (8 and up) can do most of them on their own.

My child can’t read yet, or only reads a little. Can they still do it?

Yes. Every step has a big, clear illustration. The text is short and simple (2nd to 4th grade reading level), but the picture alone is enough to know what to do. Kids ages 5–7 who aren’t confident readers yet follow the pictures with no trouble, as long as an adult is nearby to check they’re on track.

How do I pay, and how do I get the product? Most asked

You pay by card or PayPal through secure, encrypted checkout (we never store your card details). As soon as you pay, you land on a page with your download link, and you’ll also get it by email in under 5 minutes. Download the PDF book, the templates and the bonuses, and you can start today.

What devices does it work on, and what if I don’t have a printer?

It works on any device that opens PDF files: computer (Windows, Mac, Linux), tablet (iPad, Android) or phone (iPhone, Android). You can also print it if you prefer. The templates are designed for standard A4 paper. No printer? 1) View the book on a tablet or phone and follow the instructions on screen (many projects don’t need printed templates), or 2) take the templates you need to a print shop (all 35 templates come to about 50 pages, roughly 5–8 € in total). You only print the templates for the projects you’re actually going to make.

What materials do I need? Do I have to buy anything special?

Most projects use things you already have at home: cardboard (cereal boxes, shoeboxes, toilet paper rolls), bottle caps, popsicle sticks, straws, tape, glue, scissors, rubber bands, balloons and aluminum foil. A few projects need an AA battery, an LED or a small motor (you can pick these up at a hardware store or online for 2–5 €). Each project lists exactly which materials you need right at the start, so you know before you begin whether you have everything or are missing something. The bonus “Complete Materials List” gathers everything used across all 100 projects into one checklist, so you can round up the most common items in one go.

How long does a project take?

It depends on the project and your child’s age. Easy ones (e.g., slime, vinegar volcano, lava lamp) take 15–30 minutes. Intermediate ones (e.g., spider robot, catapult, LED circuit) take 40–60 minutes. Advanced ones (e.g., hydraulic arm, pulley crane, solar car) can take 1–2 hours or be split into two sessions. Each project shows the estimated time at the start. Every project is designed to be finished in one or two afternoons at most, so nothing gets left half-done.

My child starts things and never finishes them. Will this be the same?

That’s exactly why we designed the projects the way we did: every step has a picture and a check (“it should look like this now”), the templates fit together the first time (no measuring three times only for it not to fit), and every project ends with a visible result that actually works (a robot that walks, a light that turns on, a rocket that takes off). Kids finish them because they can see them working and because each step is short and clear. Plus, the printable certificates included as a bonus make them feel proud when they’re done, and that makes them eager to start the next one.

Do I need to know about robotics or engineering to help my child?

No. The instructions are written so a child (or an adult with no technical background) can follow them. Every step is short and visual. If a technical term comes up (pulley, series circuit, hydraulic pressure), it’s explained in plain language in the glossary at the back of the book. The 15 most popular projects have a video tutorial with a QR code, so you can see how it’s done before you start. You don’t need to be an engineer: just scissors and some enthusiasm.

Is a PDF really worth $24.99? Most asked

Let’s compare: a robotics kit costs anywhere from 50 to 170 € depending on the brand. It gets used for an afternoon or two and then goes back in the closet. A monthly activity box costs 25–40 € (300–480 € a year) and comes with 1 or 2 projects per box. Here you get 100 projects for a single payment of $24.99. For less than the most basic kit, your kids get 100 projects. If they make 20, that works out to just over 1 € per project. And you get lifetime access, with a new project free every month. The real question is: what’s a whole afternoon without screen-time battles worth to you?

Can I get a refund if I don’t like it? Most asked

Yes. You have 30 full days to try it out: download the book, print the templates and build as many projects as you like. If you decide it’s not for you, just reply to your receipt email with “I’d like a refund” and we’ll refund 100% within 2 business days. No forms, no questions asked.

Is the new monthly project free too? Most asked

Yes. What you pay today covers everything: all 100 current projects plus the new project we add every month. It arrives by email and gets added to your library at no extra cost. No subscription, no renewals and no hidden fees: you pay once and it’s yours forever.

Can I give it as a gift or use it in my classroom?

Yes, both. As a gift: buy with your email, download the bundle, then save it to a USB drive or send it to the person you’re gifting it to. If you’d rather it go straight to them, email us after your purchase and we’ll help. Lots of grandmas order it for their grandkids. In the classroom: many elementary school teachers already use it in their science and social studies lessons. Your license lets you use it with your own kids, in your classroom, or give it to another family (non-commercial use, no redistribution). If you’d like to share it with other teachers at your school, email us and we’ll put together a special school-wide price.
